Essence partnered with Simply Mixology to bring to life a series of branded content films that celebrated community, connection, and the art of unwinding. The City Unlimited was tapped to produce three distinct lifestyle videos designed to highlight Simply Mixology’s non-alcoholic beverage line through vibrant, culturally relevant settings: Girls’ Night In, Perfect Pairings, and Soft Life Sunday.

THE DELIVERY:

The City Unlimited handled full-service production across the campaign, delivering three stylish and spirited vignettes rooted in the essence of Black joy and celebration. Each piece focused on a different moment of connection—whether it was friends coming together over food, embracing wellness and relaxation, or hosting a cozy night in. Through carefully curated set design, lighting, and post-production, we infused each film with warmth, vibrancy, and brand-forward storytelling that aligned perfectly with both Essence’s and Simply’s messaging. The campaign rolled out across Essence platforms and digital channels to promote lifestyle-driven engagement with the Simply Mixology brand.
